Mamie Barker
Mamie Osborne Barker age 92 of Lansing, NC, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Barker was born in Ashe County, NC on August 23, 1913 to the late Johnny and Lillie Greer Osborne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ben Barker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Shepherd will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at Badger Funeral Home. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Lansing Presbyterian Church, c/o Fred Carter, 11510C NC Hwy 194 N, Lansing, NC 28643.
