Margaret Blanche (Faircloth) Price

Margaret Blanche Faircloth Price age 80 of West Jefferson died on Thursday night, November 18, 2021 at Genesis Health Care in Sparta. Mrs. Price was born in Ashe County on Thursday, August 28, 1941 to the late Roy and Ada Hoosier Faircloth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Price, three brothers, Freeman Faircloth, Henry Faircloth, and Charlie Faircloth, and a sister, Pauline Lewis. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Jefferson.

Mrs. Price is survived by: two sons, Bobby Dean McKiddy and wife Cindy of Glendale Springs and Joseph Ray McKiddy and wife Christina of Laurel Springs, six grandchildren, Drake (Harley), Jacob, Shawn, Noah, Kelsi, and Elliah McKiddy, four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Zavian, Triton and Lohcrin McKiddy and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Keith Woodie. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family requests no food please. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
