Marie Mildred (Johnson) Carrow

Marie Johnson Carrow, age 89 of Jefferson, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. Mrs. Carrow was born on November 12, 1930 in Ashe County to Johnny and Ellen McGuire Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Murphy Carrow, all her brothers, and a sister.

Mrs. Carrow was a member of Bristol Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening in her flowers and vegetable gardens, and cooking in years past. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Carrow is survived by:  one son, Eddie Carrow of Jefferson; three stepdaughters, Evon Carrow Pepin and husband Skip, Joan Carrow Radford and husband Pat, and Ellen Carrow West and husband Wayne; one grandchild, Hope Carrow; two step-grandchildren, Georgette Lott and Bryan Elizabeth Mills and husband Joshua; two step-great-grandchildren, Carsyn Gaddy and Baby Mills; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Keith Wagoner.
