Mark James Carter

Mark James Carter, age 52 of Fleetwood passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Mark was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on July 23, 1969 to James Norris and Patricia Greene Carter.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Mark graduated from Beaver Creek High School in 1987.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers.  Mark also worked for AEV for more than 20 years.

Mr. Carter is survived by his mother, Patricia Carter and one brother, Gary Carter both of Fleetwood.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00am at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Father Cory Catron.  Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery in Lansing, North Carolina.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am one hour prior to the service.  Please wear a mask if attending the services.
