Mrs. Mary Osborne Jones, age 65, of Creston, NC passed away Thursday morning at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Creston United Methodist Church with Rev. J.C. Norton and Rev. Chuck Call officiating. Interment will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery in Creston, NC. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Jones was born in Ashe County, NC on February 17, 1938 to Andy Lester and Chequiteu Belle Sluter Osborne.

Two daughters - Nola Osborne of Creston, NC
Betty Houser of Creston, NC
Three sisters - Frances Mullis of Creston, NC
Shirley Pruitt of West Jefferson, NC
Doris Roten of Avondale, PA
Two brothers - James Osborne of Creston, NC
Carl Osborne of Creston, NC
7 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
