Mary Medley

Mary Louise Medley, age 78 of West Jefferson, died May 22, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Medley was born November 30, 1924 in Ashe County to John and Vergie Combs. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Kenneth Medley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 24th at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Leashomb and Rev. Thomas Stevenson will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 9:00 PM Friday, May 23rd at Badger Funeral Home.

Her husband: Bower Edward Medley

Son: Gale Dean Medley of North Wilkesboro

Four daughters: Evon Medley, Juanita Davis and Wanda Spears all of West Jefferson & Lola Medley of Jefferson

Sister: Gladys Pruitt of Crumpler

Brother: Donald Combs of West Jefferson

16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.
