Mary Ruth Potter

Mary Ruth Potter, born on February 22, 1962, in Boone, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was a beloved daughter to her late parents, Rom and Mary Alice Snyder Potter.

Mary lived a life filled with joy and compassion, always eager to bring happiness to those around her. She had a special love for engaging in activities such as playing cards, strumming her guitar, and singing. Her cheerful disposition and love for people were evident in every interaction, leaving a positive impact on family, friends, and acquaintances alike.

A devoted follower of her faith, Mary held a deep love for the Lord, which guided her in her daily life and actions. She found immense joy in creating connections and cherished the moments spent with her loved ones.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm ,Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Potter - Main Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Ms. Potter is survived by, two brothers, James Potter and Butler Potter, four sisters, Elithe Little, Zelma Miller, Bea McMillian and Rachel Dancy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mary Ruth Potter will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her loving nature, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
