Mary "Dean" Idean (Miller) Biggs

Mary Idean Miller Biggs, better known as Dean, age 74 of Lenoir, formerly of Ashe died Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Brockford Inn Assisted Living in Granite Falls. Mrs. Biggs was born February 28, 1945 in Ashe County.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Miller.  Dean loved to fish and work with cattle and horses on the farm.  She also enjoyed quilting, puzzles and cooking.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, September 21, 2109 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:30 – 12 noon prior to the service.

Mrs. Biggs is survived by, her daughter, Rita Bridges, brother, Samuel Miller of Lenoir, sister, Tressie Mains of Hudson, niece and caregiver, Rebecca Harbison of Granite Falls, and several nieces and nephews.
