Max Head

Max Alexander Head, age 66 of West Jefferson, the Idlewild Community died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at his home. Mr. Head was born April 26, 1936 in Rutherford County to George and Ruth Bailty Head. His father preceded him in death.
Jaycees in NC and FL., serving as vice-president for the Mecklenburg Jaycees and awarded the JCI Senatorship in FL. He enjoyed fishing and attending gospel concerts.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM, Saturday, January 25th at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lewis Poag will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. Mr. Head will lie in state from 1:30 till 2:30 prior to the service.
