Maxine Barker Johnson age 84 of Lansing, NC died Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born on August 10, 1918 in Ashe County, NC to Major and Ettie Howell Barker.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 17, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Greer and Rev. Jim Francis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, 2002 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by:
Daughter: Juanita Johnson of Lansing, NC
Sister: Ruby Francis of Jefferson, NC
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
