Michael David Church

Michael David Church, age 64 of Todd, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.  Mr. Church was born in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late, Clifford Reggie and Fannie McClure Church.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Johnson, Debbie Pruitt and Cleta Johnson.

Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles.  He was a hard worker and was loved by his family.  Michael was deeply loved by many and will be missed.

Mr. Church is survived by: his wife, Theresa Lewis Church, four daughters, Christy Ratliff of Wilkesboro, Kimberly Herrera and Jennifer Church both of West Jefferson and Brystal Church of the home, two brothers, Roger Church of Lansing and Kenny Church of FL, seven grandchildren, Sheena Flemming, Brandy Hincher, Kaden Neal, Kevin Neal, Nicole Resendiz, Selina Resendiz and Jazmine Herrera.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy McClure. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
