Michael John Howell

Michael John Howell, age 39 of Laurel Springs passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Michael was born September 3, 1982 in Forsyth County to Jimmy and Christine Rash Howell.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronda and Betty Rash and John and Nell Howell.  Michael loved spending time with his family and his dog Diesel.  He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, July 22, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dennis Blevins.  Burial will follow in the Bare-Black Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Sandra Howell, 5 children, William, Emma-Rae, Taylor, Tyler and Dalton, his parents, Jimmy and Christine Howell of Crumpler, sister, Crystal Howell of Crumpler and furry best friend, Diesel.  Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
