Minnie Testerman

Minnie Ellen Jones Testerman, age 97 of Grassy Creek, NC died Wednesday, February 04, 2004 at the Segraves Care Center. Mrs. Testerman was born September 17, 1906 in Ashe County to the late Noah and Rose Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Avery Testerman and a son, Gene Testerman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Tom Stuart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dixon - Testerman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 till 11:00 AM, Saturday prior to the service.

Mrs. Testerman is survived by:

4 sons: Jack and Jones Testerman both of Grassy Creek, NC, Gwyn Testerman of Jefferson and Virgil Testerman of New Castle, DE

2 daughters: Anna Lee Goss of Jefferson, NC and Gladys Connoly of Mobile, AL

1 step-son: Paul Testerman of Lansing, NC

3 step-daughters: Hazel and Helen Roark both of West Jefferson, NC and Reba Rash of Creston, NC

21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 21 step-grandchildren, 36 step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
