Mr. Herbert Dean Watson

Mr. Herbert Dean Watson age 80, of Fleetwood, died on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Mr. Watson was born on August 29, 1935 in Ashe County to Noah and Eva Church Watson. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, five brothers, and his wife Rachel Hunter Watson. Mr. Watson was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Baptist Church by Rev. Nathan Caparolie. Burial will follow in Gap Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church.

Mr. Watson is survived by: daughter, Amy Yoder and husband Kevin of Newton, son, Richard Watson of Statesville, brother, Hobert Watson and wife Jewel of Vilas, two grandchildren, Cole Yoder, Kelsey Yoder also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
