Mr. James "Buck" Paul Osborne

Mr. James "Buck" Paul Osborne age 79, of Lansing, NC died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. Mr. Osborne was born November 23, 1933 in Mountain City, TN to Flem and Celia Ham Osborne. Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nora Howell Osborne. He attended Sabbath Home Baptist Church. His favorite things were hunting, fishing, going to churches and singing.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Sabbath Home Baptist Church by Rev. Lloyd Day and Minister David Lyalls. Burial will follow in Osborne Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday, prior to the service at Sabbath Home Baptist Church.

Mr. Osborne is survived by: Three sons, Harry Osborne and wife Velma and Thomas Osborne and wife Rose all of Jefferson and Robert Osborne and wife Robin of West Jefferson, one daughter, Sharon Janie Skrzysinski and husband Phillip of Tampa, FL also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Osborne Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Harry Osborne 120 Bower Calloway Rd., Jefferson, NC 28640.
