Mrs. Clarcie Mae Brooks Eller age 89, of Warrensville, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Margate Health and Rehab Center in Jefferson. Mrs. Eller was born on March 24, 1924 in Ashe County, NC to Heggie and Ellie Wyatt Brooks. Mrs. Eller was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Donald Eller, two sons, Larry Oliver Eller, Gary Ambrose Eller and one sister, Yvonne Francis. Mrs. Eller was a member of Sugar Tree Baptist Church. She worked for Sprague Electric and later for Leviton Manufacturing. Mrs. Eller loved to garden, sew, crochet, play horshoes, rook and was known for her cooking abilities especially her apple pies. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Sugar Tree Baptist Church by Rev. Jim Greer. Burial will follow in Brooks Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Badger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eller is survived by: one daughter, Lorene Elliott and husband Dean of Warrensville, two sons, James Donald Eller and wife Dianne of Lansing, Roger Eller and wife Audrey of Laurel Springs, two sister, Carrie Lee Elliott of Wilkesboro, Lola Greer of Warrensville, one brother, J. H. Brooks of Warrensville also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
