Mrs. Geraldine Calhoun McNeill

Mrs. Geraldine Calhoun McNeill age 78, of Creston, NC died on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living in Boone, NC. Mrs. McNeill was born November 20, 1936 in Lansing, NC to Claude and Pearl Barr Calhoun. Proceeded in death by her parents, her husbands, Bruce Elliott and Earl McNeill, four brothers, Virgil Calhoun, Cecil Calhoun, Bernard Calhoun and Bill Ham, five sisters, Paris Lewis, Ophia Rhodes, Heniretta Powers, Cathline Miller and Maxine Bragg.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Shepherd and Rev. Russell Sheets. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, prior to the service at Badger Funeral Home. Burial will be held Saturday, January 10th at Brown Cemetery in the Rich Hill Community.

Mrs. McNeill is survived by: one daughter, Charlotte Barr and husband Rick of Crumpler, four sons, Ronnie Elliott and wife Janet of Lansing, Donnie Elliott and wife Anesa of Lansing, Jerry Elliott and wife Mandy of Crumpler and Terry Elliott and wife Jenni of Jefferson , one sister Imagine Ham of Lansing. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grand Children, 2 Great- Great Children
The Family will be meeting at the home of Terry Elliott at 1011 Panther Den Estates, Jefferson, NC 28640
