Mrs. Glenna Vaught Gore

Mrs. Glenna Vaught Gore age 92, of Crumpler the Chestnut Hill Community, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at her daughter's home in South Carolina . Mrs. Gore was born January 2, 1922 in Winding Gulf, WV to Charles Thomas and Virgie Ratcliff Vaught. Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas Eugene Vaught and her husband James Mack Gore. Mrs. Gore was a member of New River Baptist Church where she served for many years as Sunday school secretary. She was an auxiliary member of the local veteran groups and she volunteered with several community organizations.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Wayne Jones. Burial will follow in Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Gore is survived by: two daughters, Joyce Hartsoe and husband David of Pauline, SC, Terri Snow and husband Garry of Crumpler, five grandchildren, James D. Hartsoe, Lori Hartsoe Sumner, Brandon Snow, Mack Daniel "Danny" Ordaya, Tommy Ordaya also surviving are four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
