Nathan Paul Osborne

Nathan Paul Osborne, age 35 of Lansing, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home. Mr. Osborne was born on May 7, 1983 in Ashe County. Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his mother, Mary C. Miller; paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Nell Osborne; maternal grandparents, Earnest and Dorene Miller; aunts, Judy Miller and Shirley Miller; cousin, Stacey Richardson; and maternal step-grandmother, Rosella Shatley.

Mr. Osborne enjoyed owning coon dogs and going coon hunting, fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and kayaking. He was great at construction work and helped a lot of people. He was a member of Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church. Nathan loved his family.

Mr. Osborne is survived by: his wife, Sandra Ellis Osborne of West Jefferson; father and stepmother, Jimmy and Carolyn Osborne of Crumpler; stepfather, Brian Borelle of Jefferson; special friend, Angel Greer and girls of Jefferson; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Minister David Lyalls, Elder Lundy Finley, and Rev. Jamie Denny. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019 prior to the service at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

The family will also receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the home of Bobby and Edith Osborne, 2463 Deep Ford Road in Lansing.
