Nicholas Blackburn

Nicholas Wiley "Nick" Blackburn age 93 of Crumpler, NC died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Blackburn was born on March 8, 1910 in Ashe County, NC to Rev. William and Cora Plummer Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his wife Winnie Catherine Goins Blackburn, and daughter Winonah Beth Blackburn. He was a member of the Healing Springs Baptist Church. He worked as a dairy farmer for many years.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. at the Healing Springs Baptist Church. Rev. David Jones will officiate. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Healing Springs Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23, 2003 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Healing Springs Baptist Church.

Great Grandchildren: Nicole Cornacchio, Daniel Blackburn, Marie Powell, Christopher Powell, Abbey Blackburn, Austin Blackburn, Hunter Blackburn, and Kaleb Morrison
