Nora D. Hurley, age 100 of West Jefferson, died Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center.
Mrs. Hurley was born on August 12, 1903 in Ashe County to the late C.N. Davis and Laura Jane Cox Davis. She married Thomas W. Hurley who preceded her in death. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and loved church. She was a member of Pond Mountain Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Elder Eddie Lyalls will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time on Wednesday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
Survivors include her two sisters, Ruth D. Little and Geneva D. Absher both of West Jefferson. Also many nieces and nephews survive.
