Norris Greer

Rev. Kenny Norris Greer age 62 of Jefferson, NC died Saturday, November 16, 2002 at his home. Rev. Greer was born in Ashe County, NC on September 10, 1940 to Clarence Elbert and Lola Rosetta Eldreth Greer. He was united in marriage to Frances Marie Ring Greer on May 14, 1965. Rev. Greer made a profession of faith and was baptized at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church. He was a member at Foster Memorial Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Newton, Rev. Burl Greer, and Rev. J.B. Hamm will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, November 18, 2002 from 6:30-8:30 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Tim Roland, Robert Greer, Danny Roland, Jona Greer, Mike Roland, and Chris Barker will serve as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Pleasant Chapel Church Cemetery.
