Ola Marie Elliott Day age 93 of West Jefferson, NC, died Friday, November 11, 20005 at her residence.
Mrs. Day was born in Ashe County, NC on May 15, 1912 to Willie and Ella Mae Miller Elliott. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Rev. Walter Franklin Day. Mrs. Day was a member of Sturgills Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 14, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Bristol Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Joe Blevins, Rev. Charlie McCoy, Rev. Ralph Smith, and Rev. Roger Sheets will officiate. Burial will follow in the Day Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends anytime at the home, 1315 Claybank Road, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
