Osvaldo DiFiore

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Osvaldo DiFiore, a remarkable individual who lived a life colored by valor, resilience, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit. Osvaldo passed away peacefully at the age of 99, on Sunday November 19, 2023, at his home in Boone, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered with great reverence.

Mr. DiFiore was born in Italy on November 26, 1923, to the late Loreto and Anna Teresa Ditommaso DiFiore.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Leticia DiFiore and a son, Vincent DiFiore.

Osvaldo was a man of remarkable tenacity and courage. He was a served in the Italian army during World War II, where his bravery and commitment to his country were evident in his unwavering service.

Beyond his military service, Mr. DiFiore possessed a remarkable knack for business. His passion for entrepreneurship led him to explore various ventures, and he became known for his astute financial acumen. His drive and determination were unparalleled, and he found success in diverse endeavors.

Mr. DiFiore is survived by one son, Victor DiFiore of Boone and his spiritual daughter Jeannette Torres.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Dr. John K. La Shell. The family will receive friends following the funeral service.

Internment will take place in The Gardens of Boca Raton, Florida at a later date.
