Paul Dwayne Lambert

Paul Dwayne Lambert, age 90 of West Jefferson, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Born on November 16, 1933, in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Mackie Gene and Mary Jane Bare Lambert, Paul lived a life that was as steadfast and rooted as the mountains that surrounded his home.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Leccia Dair Kimberlin Lambert, all of his brothers and sisters, son, Paul Robert Lambert as well as an infant son.

Paul enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He found solace in the serenity of the outdoors. His love for working in his yard, mowing, and landscaping was evident in his meticulously manicured lawn. Paul also made time for fishing, spending countless tranquil hours by the water's edge, casting his line and relishing the peaceful moments nature offered.

Mr. Lambert found his professional calling behind the wheel of a truck. His career as a truck driver spanned decades until his retirement, and he navigated highways and byways with skill and dedication, earning respect among colleagues and friends.

Paul Lambert will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic but also as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished friend. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared, and the memories cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
