Paula Arlene (Lambert) Miller

Paula Arlene Lambert Miller, age 74 of West Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Miller was born to Robert and Maude Lambert on July 15th, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jason and Eric Lambert, sister, Shirley Ann Lambert and grandson, Cory Little. Mrs. Miller served the citizens of Ashe County for over 20 years as a jailor.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, James Miller, 1 daughter, Jeanette Little of Jefferson, 1 son, Kevin Miller (Joy) of Todd. 1 brother, Ernie Lambert (Geraldine), 3 sisters, Nancy Howell, Sylvia Graham (Joe) and Edith Lambert. 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, plus a great granddaughter arriving in July. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
