Peggy Jean (Barnes) Testerman

Peggy Jean Barnes Testerman, age 79 of Warrensville, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Watauga Medical Center.  Mrs. Testerman was born on August 15, 1943 in Lenoir, North Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthie Barnes, one son, Tracy Testerman and one half-brother, Ralph Gragg.

Peggy enjoyed quilting, sewing, listening to gospel music and gardening.  She attended Clifton Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Badger Funeral Home by Rev. Lloyd Day.  Burial will follow in the Ashley-Testerman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Badger Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Testerman is survived by her husband, Ralph Testerman, one son, Terry Testerman of Jefferson, one daughter, Teresa Miller of Creston, half-brother, Ray Gragg of Lenoir, four grandchildren, Craig, Monica, Jeremiah and Angela, five great-grandchildren, Gracie, Millie, Alex, Sophia and Cheyenne and several nieces and nephews also survive.
