Regina Renae Horne

Regina Renae Horne, age 48 of Granite Falls passed away on December 30, 2023 at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and happiness. Regina was born on August 12, 1975 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to Paul Theodore “Ted” and Lulla Belle Greer Horne.  Regina was preceded in death by her father.

Regina was a fervent fan of NASCAR, passionately following the races and keeping up with various other sports. Described as someone who never complained and embraced life with a smile, Regina's cheerful disposition was a source of inspiration to everyone around her.

A devoted daughter and a true "mamma's girl," Regina's love and care for her mother knew no bounds. She dedicated herself to ensuring her mother's well-being, embodying the essence of unconditional love. Regina was also known for her ability to "keep the family straight," a role she embraced with grace and determination.

Ms. Horne is survived by her mother Lulla Belle Greer Horne of Granite Falls, two brothers, Louis Horne (Natalie) of VA and Paul Horne (Viola) of Granite Falls, as well as one sister, Melissa Ford (Larry) also of Granite Falls.  Several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00am at Badger Funeral Home by Rev. Lloyd Day.  Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery in Lansing, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am one hour prior to the service.

Regina Renae Horne will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing such a remarkable soul. Her legacy of love and unwavering positivity will forever remain an inspiration to cherish life's moments and embrace each day with a smile.
