View this Videotribute Rev. David Lee Lambert age 53, of West Jefferson, NC died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at his home. Rev. Lambert was born July 24, 1954 in Ashe County to the late William and Blanche Mullis Lambert. Rev. Lambert was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a former pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 1008 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Darryl Giles, Rev. Lloyd Day, and Rev. Herbert Parunak officiating. Burial will follow in the West Jefferson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Badger Funeral Home. Rev. Lambert is survived by: Three brothers: Jimmy Lambert, Jessie Lambert and Bobby Lambert all of West Jefferson Three sisters: Janie Lambert of West Jefferson, Myrtle Wagoner of Jefferson and Elizabeth Campbell of Mouth of Wilson, VA Several nieces and nephews also survive.
