Rev. Miller Miller

Rev. Charles Smith Miller, age 90, of Jefferson, died Sunday evening at the Ashe Living Center in Jefferson, NC. Rev. Miller was born September 9, 1913, to John and Mary Ann Miller in Ashe County. He attended Gardner-Webb and was a graduate of Wake Forest University. Rev. Miller served as pastor to several local churches. Funeral services for Rev. Miller will be conducted on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jack Pugh. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Miller is survived by five sons: John Miller of Durham, Charles Miller of Raleigh, Wayne Miller of Greensboro, Zane Miller and Dane Miller of Burlington; three brothers: Shade Miller of Jefferson, John Miller and Clint Miller of West Jefferson; three sisters: Pearl Barker of Lansing, Goldie Miller of West Jefferson, and Ada Polk of Mocksville.
