Richard Mark Rembert, age 33, died May 8, 2003 at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Charlotte, NC on June 26, 1969 and moved to Ashe County in 1971 where he attended Lansing Elementary School and enjoyed the happiest of childhoods. He was employed for many years as Systems Manager for Bobbitt and Associates of Raleigh, NC.
He is survived by his parents, George and Betty Rembert of Lansing, NC; one daughter, Megan Elizabeth Rembert of Clayton, NC; one brother, George Rembert III of Horse Shoe, NC; and two sisters, Andi Grier of Woodstock, GA and Marie Whaley of Lansing, NC.
Funeral services will be private. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Badger Funeral Home, West Jefferson, NC. Memorials may be made to the North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
