Richard Harold Wolfe

Richard Harold Wolfe, age 53 of Jefferson, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Wolfe was born September 11, 1966 in Philadelphia, PA to Thomas Lee Sr. and Anna Thornton Wolfe.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Wolfe Sr., sisters, Darlene and Patricia Wolfe, and aunts, Christine Wolfe, Shelby Jane Wolfe, Brenda Horton and Eliouse Poe.  Richard was an open, friendly person who enjoyed visiting with people. Richard graduated from Ashe Central High School and worked as a CNA for over 20 years.  Mr. Wolfe was a member of Cox's Grove Baptist Church.  He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.

Private memorial services will be held by Rev. Perkins and Minister Fontrina Wray.  The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Cox’s Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Wolfe is survived by his son, Justin Thomas Wolfe of the home, daughters, Kellie Elizabeth Wolfe of the home and Aliyah Nichole Wolfe of Wilkesboro, his mother, Anna Wolfe of PA, sisters, Bernadette Boyd and husband Greg of PA, Sharon Wolfe of PA and Arlene Wolfe of the home, brothers, Thomas Lee Wolfe Jr. and wife Tamika, and Anthony Wolfe both of PA, grandchildren, Kaeleigh Yalaina Jane Wolfe and Keaton Richard Thomas Wolfe.
