Ricky James Howell

Ricky James Howell, age 58 of Whitetop, VA died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Twin County Hospital in Galax.  Mr. Howell was born September 10, 1959 in Ashe County to John Paul and Margaret Ham Howell.  He was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Howell, brother, Johnny Howell and sister Mary Jane Cox.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church by Minister David Lyalls and Rev. Dennis Blevins.

Mr. Howell is survived by: his wife, Vivian Jones Howell, son, John Howell of Warrensville,  step-daughter, Amy Maye of West Jefferson, his mother, Margaret Ham Howell of Warrensville, sister, Debbie Cruz of West Jefferson, grandson, Randall Howell and several nieces and nephews.
