Ricky Lee Rash

Ricky Lee Rash, age 63, of Jefferson, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at High Point Medical Center. Born on November 17, 1960, to Ronda Bartholomew Rash and Betty Sue Rash, Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ronnie and Randy Rash, and sister Kathy Grogan.

Known as "the computer guy," Ricky owned and operated Max 5 Computers. He was an avid gamer and enjoyed stargazing, spending time with friends and family, and hosting family cookouts. Ricky was beloved for his good sense of humor, always making others laugh with his playful and giving nature. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Rash is survived by:

His wife, Tammie Eldreth Rash; two daughters, Jessica Hartzog of West Jefferson and Tiffany Stokes (Kevin) of Johnson City, TN; one sister, Christine Howell (Jimmy) of Crumpler; six grandchildren, Natalie, Cole, Brooklynn, Emma, Sophia, and Michael; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 12:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Chris Cox. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm one hour prior to the service.
