Rissie Ann (Lambert) Salas

Rissie Ann Lambert Salas, age 57 of Jefferson, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Salas was born June 23, 1960 in Jefferson, NC to Damon Lambert and Verlis Wyrick Lambert Trivette. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jim Salas.

Mrs. Salas is survived by:

One son – Brad Cockerham of Jefferson; o ne sister – Bonita Thompson Horlak and husband Stuart of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; h er fiancé – Drew Sheets; a lso surviving are two nephews, Dustin Massey and wife Jennifer and Kenneth Massey and wife Joy; four great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Doug Halsey and Rev. Cory Halsey.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am prior to the memorial service.
