Robert Lee Blevins

Robert Lee Blevins age 63 of Lansing passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. Mr. Blevins was born in Ashe County on February 27, 1958 to the late, Estel and Mary Clyde Turnmire Blevins.

Robert attended Middle Fork Baptist Church. He loved to read his Bible, and loved to share his faith with others. He enjoyed to work and fix things for people, he was always a friend and inspiration to anyone he met. In his spare time he liked hunting, fishing and spending time with his nephews. Robert was a loving husband, brother and uncle.

Mr. Blevins is survived by: his wife, Wanda Walls Blevins, two brothers, Ken Blevins and Shane Blevins both of Crumpler, one sister, Shelia Lynn McVicker of Wilkes, two sisters in-law, Loula Bell Hamm, Juanita Dolinger both of Independence, VA, two brothers-in law, Thomas Walls of Independence and Edward Walls of Mouth of Wilson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day, Brother Anthony Roark, Brother Brian Walls and Robbie Dolinger. Burial will follow in the Scott Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Badger Funeral Home.
