Robert Alex Miller age 89 of Jefferson, NC the Glendale Springs Community, died Friday, April 14, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Miller was born in Ashe County, NC on April 18, 1916 to the late Jurden and Mary Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife; Goldie Severt Miller. Mr. Miller worked as a farmer, and also did logging work and road construction.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Keith Elledge, Rev. Russell Sheets, Rev. Gordon Finley, Rev. Dayton Roten and Rev. Johnny Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cherry Hill Cemetery behind the Miller family residence. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 18, 2006 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Glendale Springs Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Badger Funeral Home, PO Box 139, West Jefferson, NC 28694.

Brother: Douglas Miller of Tobbaccoville, NC
Sister: Beulah Farrington of West Jefferson, NC
