Robert "Bob" John Koebernik

Robert John Koebernik better known as Bob age 63 of Lansing passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, February 14, 1956 in Key West, FL to William F. and Helen Smith Koebernik. Mr. Koebernik was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Smith Davis, brother, Billy Koebernik, and sister, Amy Koebernik. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Bald Mountain Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, his dog Precious and all his family. In his spare time he enjoyed wood working and doing electrical work. He lived life to the fullest, and could always be found with a smile which helped make him a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Koebernik is survived by: his wife, Bonnie Koebernik, one son, James Brian Rhoden and wife Krystal, one daughter, Sandy Jennifer “Pumpkin” Worley and husband Kevin, his father and step mother, William F. and Dee Koebernik, six grandchildren, Hanna and husband Levi, Autumn and husband Adrian, Trevor, Logan, Alexis, James Jr., great granddaughter, McKynlee, two brothers, Allen Bruce Koebernik, Jeff Koebernik, sister, Cynthia White, half-brother, Ray Davis, Jr., step sister, Deanna Holley, step brother, Darren Holley, mother in-law, Sandra Riegler, sister in-law, Joyce Billings, two brothers in-law, Harold Riegler, and Harry Riegler, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Bald Mountain Baptist Church by Rev. John Elledge with Military Rites. The family will receive friends following the service.
