Robert Ralph Blevins

Robert Ralph Blevins, better known as Ralph, age 91 of Crumpler passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Blevins was born on October 1, 1930 in Harford County, Maryland to Quincy and Lucy Pollard Blevins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Delphine Ball Blevins, and a sister, Hazel Denny.

Mr. Blevins served in the US Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. He attended Healing Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his garden.

Mr. Blevins is survived by:  two sons, Jimmy Blevins of Crumpler and Ralph Edward Blevins of Alabama; a grandson, Jason Blevins; a granddaughter, Miranda Seiler; also surviving are five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Jim Greer. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with military rites.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
