Roger Lee Irelan

Roger Lee Irelan, born on January 14, 1961, in Peru, Indiana, bid farewell to this world on July 31, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. He was a loving son to his late parents, Donald and Florence Holman Irelan.

Roger's life was filled with a deep passion for the outdoors and all it had to offer. His hobbies included fishing, deer hunting, and simply basking in the beauty of nature. Additionally, Roger found joy in watching TV, with a particular fondness for NASCAR races. His diverse interests spoke volumes about his vibrant personality and zest for life.

In his journey through life, Roger was fortunate to have the unwavering support of his surviving family members: his sister Elizabeth "Liz" Weddle of West Jefferson, NC and brother Don Irelan of North Manchester, IN. Their cherished memories together will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Roger Lee Irelan will be remembered not only for his love of the great outdoors but also for the kindness and warmth he extended to all who knew him. May his adventurous spirit and gentle soul find eternal peace as he embarks on his next great journey beyond this life.
