Roger Dale Mullis, Sr.

Roger Dale Mullis, Sr., age 74 of Sparta, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Mr. Mullis was born on October 15, 1949 in Ashe County to the late Paul William and Carry Hamm Mullis. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John Wayne Mullis, Sr., two daughters, Elizabeth Mullis Adams and Amy Mullis Perry, a grandson, Brandon Lee Perry, and a son-in-law, James Lee Perry. 

Mr. Mullis is survived by: his wife, Marie Bryant Mullis; two sons, Joseph Dale Mullis of Salisbury and Roger Dale Mullis, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Tanya Marie Mullis of the home and Tammy Mullis Hamby of Jefferson; three brothers, David Mullis of Jefferson, Robert Mullis and Mason Mullis, both of Sparta; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
