Roland Fields Bare, age 82 of N. Wilkesboro died Monday, January 12, 2004 at his home.
He was born in Ashe County on November 23, 1921 to the late Martin Pharr Bare and Margaret Mash Bare. He married Dorothy Miller who preceded him in death in 1999.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Badger Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Sheets will officiate. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 at Badger Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
1 Son: Ronald Mark Bare of North Wilkesboro
3 Daughters: Martha Sheets of Roaring River
Margie Mitchell of Moravian Falls
Marie Guerrero of Moravian Falls
Sister: Ruby Spears of Statesville
9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
