Ronald "Ronnie" Mark Bare

Ronald Mark Bare, better known as Ronnie, age 64 of Moravian Falls passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at The Dunmore Plantation Assisted Living in Dobson, North Carolina.  Mr. Bare was born on May 1, 1958 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Roland Fields and Dorothy Lena Miller Bare.  In addition to his parents Ronnie was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bare and Marie Guerrero.

Ronnie enjoyed playing cards and listening to music, especially rock and roll.  He loved the Lord, his children, grandchildren and all of his family.

Mr. Bare is survived by: two daughters, Angela "Angie" Harris (Michael) and Bonnie Bare both of Raleigh, one son, Mark Bare (Kimberly) of Raleigh, two step-daughters, Jessica Lambert and Elizabeth Hamby (Scotty) both of Moravian Falls, two sisters, Martha Sheets of Roaring River and Margie Mitchell of Moravian Falls, two grandchildren, Anna Nixon and Aspen Harris.  Seven step-grandchildren, two nieces, Lisa "fish-eyed fool" Taylor and Joanie "JoJo" Macemore and four nephews, Paul Sheets, Bobby Sheets, Jamie Sheets and Will Mitchell also survive.

Services for Mr. Bare will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice; 968 North Bridge Street, Elkin, NC 28621.  The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Dunmore Plantation Assisted Living for the excellent care that Ronnie received there.
