Rose Ann (Mahaffey) Treadway

Rose Ann Mahaffey Treadway, age 73 of Warrensville, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Treadway was born on September 9, 1947 in Ashe County to the late Carl James and Ruby Belle Jones Mahaffey.

Mrs. Treadway enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She loved her family and loved the Lord and read her Bible every day. She was a faithful member of Scottville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 42 years.

Mrs. Treadway is survived by:  her husband, Harold Dean Treadway; three daughters, Diana Swofford and husband Joel of Wilkesboro, Angela Treadway of Warrensville, and Allison Joines and husband Steve of Wilkesboro; one sister, Stella Jones of Warrensville; two brothers, James Mahaffey of Creston and Mike Mahaffey of Whitetop, VA; five grandchildren, Alex Treadway, Jacob Miller, Sam Joines, Hannah Miller, and Ben Joines; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Treadway will be private.
