Roy Hunt
Roy Neal Hunt, age 63, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away May 12, in Atlanta, Georgia after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Hunt was a native of St. Joseph, Tennessee, the son of the late Marcus and Gladys Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the Air Force with most of this time spent in Goose Bay, Labordor. He worked in consulting and sales in the electronics and appliance business for forty years traveling the eastern US.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 2:00 PM at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson, NC with Rev. Jeff Vogler officiating and Harry Calloway assisting. Interment will follow in the Bledsoe Family Cemetery in Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Bledsoe Hunt; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Mark Morgan of Signal Mountain, TN; two sisters Mary Wannell Hunt, Sandra Hunt Fay and her husband Paul; one brother Daniel and his wife Martha all of Nashville TN. One brother, Carroll, preceded him in death. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
