Ruby Miller

Mrs. Ruby Severt Miller, age 83 of Fleetwood, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at her home.  Mrs. Miller was born August 9, 1925 in Ashe County to the late Len and Mae Dympsey Severt.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband: John Miller, sons:  Phillip and Charles Miller, sister: Dorothy Miller and brother: Leonard Severt. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jack Miller and Rev. Lawrence Goodman.  Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 prior to the service. Mrs. Miller is survived by: One son: Perry Miller of Fleetwood, NC Two daughters:  Sandra Howell and Charlene Cox both of Fleetwood, NC One brother:  Johnny Severt of West Jefferson, NC One sister:  Ruth Royal of West Jefferson, NC 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
