Ruth Badger, age 81 of Jefferson, NC, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Ms. Badger was born April 4, 1925 in Ashe County to the late W. W. and Cora Thompson Badger.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 9, 2006 at the Tuckerdale Baptist Church. Minister Danny Miller and Rev. Jim Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Ms. Badger is survived by:
Three sons: Richard Badger of Supply, NC, Dean Badger of Lansing, NC and Jim Badger of West Jefferson, NC
One daughter: Libby Rudersdorf of Warrensville, NC
Three sisters: Ruby Carter of Lansing and Mae Powers and Kathleen Hughes both of PA
13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
