Mrs. Ruth Poe Eller, age 91, of Lansing, NC died Thursday, March 13, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2003, 11:00 A.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Roten and Rev. Wayne Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in the Poe-Gilley Cemetery, Lansing, NC.
Mrs. Eller was born in Ashe County, NC January 29, 1912 to Joseph and Margaret Gilley Poe. She was a homemaker and was an employee for Shatley Springs Restaurant for many years. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Genopolos Eller.
Survivors include:
Two daughters ? Nancy Eller Badger of Lansing, NC & Jane Eller Brooks of Lansing, NC
One son ? Junior Eller of Lansing, NC
Twenty-three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
