Ruth (Lewis) Miller

Ruth Lewis Miller, age 71 of Warrensville, died Monday, December 6, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Ruth was born April 20, 1950 to the late Conley and Cecile Bennett Lewis.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma Rogers, Margie Livesay and Shirley Lewis and two brothers, Jim and Jack Lewis.  Ruth loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Corky.  She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and working with her flowers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Anthony Roark.  Burial will follow in the Pennington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Bruce Miller, son, Scott Lewis of West Jefferson, two daughters, Tammy (Greg) Campbell of Lansing and Renee’(Jimmy) Blevins of Warrensville, brother, Arthur (Barbara) Lewis of California, step-daughter, Tammy Bryant of Lenoir, two granddaughters, Shauna Shepherd and Katelyn Blevins, three grandsons, Josh (Kristen) Garrison, Cole and Mason Lewis, step-granddaughters, Ashlen (Mike) Slate of Lansing, Ashley and Kelly Bryant, six great-grandsons, Ayden, Steven, Ryan, Dalton, Liam and Braden, step-great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaidence, Maddie, Miriah, Gabriel and Madix, special nephew, Art Lewis Jr. and her fur baby, Corky. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
