Sally Orlando Uraro

Mrs. Sally Orlando Uraro age 88, of Laurel Springs, NC died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Margate Health & Rehab Center.  Mrs. Uraro was born August 12, 1929 in Islip, NY to Joseph and Alice Bertela Orlando. Mrs. Uraro was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pasquale Uraro and brother Joseph Orlando.  Mrs. Uraro loved spending time with her family, playing bingo and crocheting. She was an excellent cook.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Keith Woodie.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Uraro is survived by: Daughters, Patricia Pyke of Laurel Springs and Sallie Ann Uraro of Wilkesboro, Son, John Uraro of West Jefferson, Sister, Alice Bowman of NY, Brothers, Johnny Orlando of Rosemont, Jack Orlando of CA, Peter Orlando of NY, Sonny Orlando of TX and Ted Orlando of AL, Sister, Nancy Bazata of FL also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
